Syracuse Nerd

After many long months of winter in Syracuse, sometimes it’s nice to get away and go on vacation elsewhere. If you are a fan of anime, gaming, Japanese culture, and want to spend your weekend at a waterpark, ColossalCon is the convention you’ve been waiting for. ColossalCon takes place at the Kalahari Resort in Sandusky, Ohio. This year, it ran from June 2-5 and was packed full of cosplayers enjoying the sun.

ColossalCon offers a full convention experience with talented guests, such as Vic Mignogna and Chuck Huber; a huge Dealer’s Room and Artist Alley that offers everything a nerd could want to collect; a massive game room with arcade machines imported directly from Japan; and a great selection of fun, but also informative panels for any interest.

Cosplayers from all over come to this convention to have fun, meet new people, and dress up as their favorite characters.
